About Julie and Marcee (AKA Waterski Wednesday Girls)

We are always up for a challenge and are excited for this next one that will prove to be the most rewarding!  We are heading to Poland this summer to participate in the Ride for the Living (RFTL).

RFTL is a multi-day event and fundraiser that offers participants the chance to immerse themselves in Krakow's Jewish past, present and future. The highlight of the event is a 60-mile bike ride from Auschwitz-Birkenau to JCC Krakow, followed by a Shabbat dinner.

Funds raised directly benefit JCC Krakow. The JCC provides Krakow's growing Jewish community a place to meet, learn, pray and share ideas in a warm, welcoming envrionment. 

The JCC also provides humanitarian aid to hundreds of Ukranian refugees each day as they have done every day since Putin's attack on Ukraine over 2 years ago.  Almost 300,000 refugees have been directly helped so far. 

Funds raised will allow JCC Krakow to continue their core mission of rebuilding Jewish life in Krakow and to provide humanitarian aid to Ukranian refugees, as well as dozens of Israeli citizens - a number that is increasing daily.
