Kenneth Schack / Ride For The Living 2024
From June 26-30, 2024 I will be participating in the Ride For The Living which combines cycling and Holocaust educational aspects. I will be riding 60 miles away from the darkness of Auschwitz-Birkenau and into the bright Jewish future being built at JCC Krakow. On the ride I will be joining my friend Marcel who was one of the children who walked that 60 mile route to Krakow in late January 1945 after Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated. The JCC Krakow has been on the front lines of providing humanitarian relief to those in need, particularly Ukrainian refugees, since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began. With the support of dedicated individuals like yourselves, JCC Krakow has been able to run dozens of projects and provide direct assistance to close to 300,000 Ukrainian refugees and counting. I am asking for your support in raising at least $5,000 for JCC Krakow, Poland, so that they can continue their critical work. Your donation will go directly towards providing food, shelter, and care to those who need it most as well as the activities within the JCC.
