About Jonathan Ornstein & Bernard Offen

Bernard Offen, 95, was born in Krakow and is a survivor of 5 concentration camps, where he was enslaved and tortured from ages 10-14. I'm the 54 year old CEO of JCC Krakow and I grew up in NYC. Bernard and I are close friends and speak almost every day. And once a year for Ride For The Living we get on a bike together and ride from Auschwitz, where he was a prisoner to JCC Krakow, where he is a proud and active member. 

Why does Bernard, a 95 year old Holocaust survivor, get on a bike with me and ride 60 miles from the camp where his father was murdered and where he was imprisoned? Because Bernard knows that there are over 50 local Krakowian Holocaust Survivors who, like him, depend on JCC Krakow to help them lead full, active Jewish lives. And we can only do so with your support. Please help me and Bernard raise $95,000 and help us help them.
